Tento umělecký výzkum zkoumá propojení tradiční čínské tušové krajinomalby, známé jako šan-šuej, a starověké čínské geomantie, známé jako feng-šuej, pomocí technologie umělé inteligence (AI), konkrétně strojového vidění, s cílem vytvořit nová umělecká díla napomáhající pochopení souvislostí a vztahů mezi člověkem a přírodou. Propojením umělé inteligence s malbami šan-šuej a identifikací forem v dynamickém krajinném uměleckém díle pomocí počítačového vidění se začleněním principů souvisejících s feng-šuej vzniká umělecký výraz, který nabízí jedinečný umělecký styl a provokuje mysl diváků. Interpolate and Generate: Reconnecting Traditional Chinese Landscape Painting with Feng Shui Aspect through Machine Learning and Computer Vision
This artistic research explores the interconnection of traditional Chinese ink landscape painting, known as shan-shui, and ancient Chinese geomancy, known as feng-shui, through the application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, specifically machine vision, to create new artworks that aid understanding of the connections and relationships between humans and nature. By linking AI with shan-shui paintings and identifying forms in a dynamic landscape artwork using computer vision with the incorporation of feng-shui related principles, an artistic expression is created that signifies a unique artistic style and provokes the minds of the viewers. This renews the connection with nature and the core values of shan-shui in the age of computer vision and machine intelligence.
