Príspevok bude zameraný na genderové aspekty fenoménu záhrady a záhradníckej opatery. Môžeme dnes, po niekoľkých paradigmatických obratoch vo vnímaní genderového vymedzenia umeleckej tvorby, ešte stále vnímať fenomén gardeningu ako rodovo podmienený? Príspevok sa pokúsi aktuálne prepojiť počiatočné hľadania alternatív v ekofeminizme, cez podvratné zviditeľňovanie analógie medzi postavením/údelom ženy v patriarchálnej spoločnosti a postavením/údelom prírody v technokratickej kultúre, až ku súčasným prejavom autoriek so zameraním na guerilla-gardening a environmentálny soft-aktivizmus.
Gender, Gardening and Vague Terrain
The presentation will focus on the gendered aspects of the phenomenon of gardens and gardening care. Today, after several paradigmatic turns in the perception of the gendered definition of artistic creation, can we still perceive the phenomenon of gardening as gendered? This speech will attempt to make a topical connection between the initial search for alternatives in ecofeminism, through the subversive visibility of the analogy between the position/role of women in patriarchal society and the position/role of nature in technocratic culture, to the contemporary manifestations of women artists with a focus on guerrilla-gardening and environmental soft-activism.
