The conceptual sculptor Markéta Oplištilová will be the author of the work prepared in cooperation with the Faculty of Art and Design at the J. E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. The location chosen for the work is in the foreground of the Ústí nad Labem House of Arts. The artist is creating a concept aimed at strengthening this public space between the gallery and the university dormitories. The artwork will improve the aesthetic quality and possibilities of use of this place by students of the university, visitors of the Ústí nad Labem House of Arts or residents of the dormitories.
Jiří Černický continues to shape the concept of artistic intervention in cooperation with the Volunteer Centre in Ústí nad Labem. The location of the art realization in the public space is now being discussed due to the extensive reconstruction of the originally selected location.
