The Skaftfell Centre for Visual Art in East Iceland hosted the first Czech artist Jan Krtička for an artist residency during the months of October and November 2022. The author dedicates his artistic focus on long term working with space and sound. In his artistic work, Krtička transcribes experiences and sound records from specific places into visual or multichannel installations. He focused on the working with the sound recording during his residency, but also he used a photography and video as a preparation for new creation of artwork. November 10th he realised a Artist Talk for the gallery.
